Silvio’s Story begins in 1956 when he left his family home in Montattico village, south of Rome, to come and work in his uncle’s fish & chip shop in Ireland.
Along the way, he met the lovely Maria. They appreciated the same things – hard work and the love of wine, food and laughter, so together they started their own business. Today, their many children run the well-established Silvio’s food outlets around Dublin.
Silvio’s son, Mario, an ex league of Ireland player and owner of the Sora Football Club in Italy, has decided to bring his love of sports and family tradition together and open Silvio’s Family Sports Diner.

Alongside our suppliers, our policy is to actively support quality Irish food. in particular 100% Irish beef that is traceable to the farm of origin. Our menu is uniquely designed to appeal to Irish and continental tastes. as well as kids’ meals which are prepared with little or no added salt and are low in fat. along with a free kiddie toy!
